Everything seems to work well. Havent gotten too far into the story (been mostly exploring and building up my character since I have yet to find the best ways to make money and pay off the bank).Does have a couple of minor bugs and has one performace issue that could really do with being resolved (mainly when there are too many people on the map it starts to lag -especially when the post man is on the screen.Would like to see the "e" button accepted as the interact button for those of us using "wasd" style of moving. Also really like to be able to switch places with the NPC's or make it so there are fewer single lane walkways on the map so we can get around them quickly.Also would like the option to turn off screen jerking around during combat- (or maybe just tune it down a bit)ENDING-------The thing about this game is that it has a lot of really interesting stuff in it (crafting\/combat\/monster training) and I definately wanted to play a monster training game on PC- and there really arnt that many right now.Its well worth the price tag. Get it if your bored or cant decide on anything - you wont regret it.. Void Monsters: Spring City Tales is a fun monster trainer/simulation game. Actually, it's not really what I expected when I bought the game, but I am far from disappointed. The game begins with you returning home after your parents were brutally murdered only to find your home town sinking into debt. You inherint your parents' estate...along with their 52,000 gold debt, which accrues interest daily. You must raise money to pay off your debt while also helping the villagers with various tasks. You really have to balance making money and adventuring.There are lots of things to do! You can grow crops and raise goats. You need the things you grow and harvest from the goats to craft various items to sell or use. You will also need items you can only get by fighting against wild Void Monsters using your own trained monsters. You can gather runes and summon a large variety of different Void Monsters to help you on your way.Overall, I am really enjoying the game. I have encountered a few bugs, but nothing that keeps the game from being playable. I have had the game freeze on me occasionally, and there seems to be a memory leak causing the game to slow to a crawl after playing for a couple hours...a simple restart of the game fixes the issue. Otherwise, the gameplay and controls work very well.. Quite nice rpg for the price. Nice crafting system. Also farm has nice speed up mechanic so you don't need to use all your time in that can do everything really.Systems are quite simple but there are lots of them so nice for the price.Would recommend for all rpg fans who are not so grafic depended.. A brilliant RPGmaker gamePart farming simPart PokemonBut a ton of funIt is very well made, but have a few bugs.Definatly worth the money.. It's charming! Lots of nifty mechanics and bright graphics. I use RPG maker so I recognize some of the hallmarks and this clearly took a lot of work to make new systems, animations, and a very expansive world! Clearly a labor of love and I like the old-school J-rpg styel meets new-style crafting system.Just a little advice: when you download the game on Steam you'll be presented with TWO options to start Void Monsters for some reason. If you select the top option the game will not run (missing executible) but the bottom option works fine!. Very fun game. Just make sure you pay attention to the quest some things can be hard to find.Oh and hold Shift to run took me 3 hours to figure that out -_- but Other then that im addicted!. This game is a bit sluggish on linux computers, but it plays just fine on a windows 7 machine. Void Monsters is an original game and one I like.In fact it can be addicting & I play this alot. It doesn't matter what character you play as because you can eventually be beyond their skills with another character. Normally I don't like match 3 games, but in this game I don't mind them because you can get runes that way. I just wish they made more games like this one. It's fun, addicting and time consuming. This game has alot of quests so you get your money's worth out of it. I got it when it was on sale for $1.99 and if I knew I'd like it this much, I would have bought it at full price. I like games with new concepts like this one.. This is the sum of all fears. Someone let furries make a video game. This is a terrible retro JRPG with bad furry art. It's even worse than it sounds. This game gave me cancer and now I'm out of a gaming PC because I had to incinerate the one I was using just to make sure this game was properly eliminated. There's simply no language on earth expressive enough to describe how important it is that nobody should play this game ever.. This game is cute, but I personally found it kind of tedious to play. Pros+Many things to do and many ways to play.+Im not into farming games but there is plenty of farming to do for players who want to grow flowers+Its a surpisingly big game despite the price. This was a pleasant surpise for me.Cons-The controls are stiff and your character will get stuck against things if you walk into them wrong. -No matter how strong you get enemies sort of level with you so that you never really get to feel powerful. -It also doesnt explain very well how skills work. I tried to cast spell shield but it only lets me target my opponents. Why would I target my opponents? I will not refund because I may want to comeback to this later in the future but for now, I have to say the games little bugs and such just make me feel like doing something else.. I'm really enjoying this game. Its easy to get into ,the mechanics are explained well. Heaps of stuff to do. Worth the price no doubt about it. Update 1.0.6: Additions:- A Kat added to the the Leskova Den which sells a special MageGem.FIxes:- It is now possible to leave the Blackroot Warehouse District properly.- Leskova Rune Temple now spawns monsters correctly.. Update 1.0.8 (New Evolutions): Additions:Four new battles, scattered throughout the world. Each battle drops a new evolution item. These evolutions are of a new class, 'Dökkálfar' are are a sneak peek into the upcoming 'Jester of Darkwatch Wood' expansion which will take place after the main quest and involve 2 new classes, new monsters, a new area to explore, and a cool new story-line.
